I’m Wendy Salgado—licensed cosmetologist, professional makeup artist, international educator for Olivia Garden, and founder of WS Beauty Touch. My journey in the beauty industry is one of passion, artistry, and empowerment, shaped by years of rich experiences and global influence.
Before stepping into cosmetology, I enjoyed a successful career as a professional model and television reporter in my home country of Honduras, where I had the honor of representing my nation in the Miss Universe 2007.
After moving to the United States in 2012, I followed my true calling in the beauty industry. With a strong foundation in style, image, and presentation, I’ve dedicated myself to creating tailored, expressive looks that enhance each client’s natural beauty. My work is deeply personal—each haircut, color, hairstyle, and makeup application is a blend of classic inspiration and modern flair, always crafted to reflect the unique personality and lifestyle of the wearer.
Now, as an independent hairstylist in Willow Glen, San Jose, CA, I offer an intimate, luxurious salon experience rooted in artistry, wellness, and sustainability. I specialize in versatile, low-maintenance cuts, custom color services, and professional makeup, using only premium, eco-conscious brands such as ORIBE, KÉRASTASE, KEVIN.MURPHY, and OLIVIA GARDEN—all aligned with my commitment to beauty with integrity.
As part of the Olivia Garden International Educator & Ambassador Team, I’ve had the privilege of teaching, presenting, and collaborating with creative professionals across Taiwan, Latin America, Canada, and the United States. These global experiences continue to shape my craft and fuel my mission to inspire others in the beauty industry.
